About
We reach out to poor, unreached and remotely located Villages in India through a known local congregation of church or a known local pastor who not only understands local circumstances and challenges, but also is trust worthy with a commitment to serve the people in the village through his/her beliefs and convictions with a sense of accountability to a higher authority beyond this life.
We start with a noble cause of providing clean water to drink, which is a very big need in India. After building a water plant, we let the local congregation or the pastor maintain it, offering water for a nominal charge. The income is divided into three parts: one part is used to maintain the water plant; another part is used to support the congregation; the other part is given back to the village for its needs.
This, while providing clean water to drink to the people in the village, helps building relationship between the pastor and people in the village, which presents other opportunities to help the villagers, such as supporting orphans and widows, running medical camps, providing hygiene kits to women and back packs to school children etc.
By having locals own all this work, LCC India stays simple and nimble that helps moving on to other villages while continuing the existing relationships.
Our goal is to build relationships with hope of them lasting for eternity, and we do it through unconditionally providing for their basic needs to live and giving them an opportunity to experience the love of God.
